Storage Environment Requirements For Home Energy Storage Batteries

Leave a message

1. Temperature and Humidity Balance
Energy storage batteries are like delicate plants, extremely sensitive to environmental temperature and humidity. The ideal storage environment should maintain a temperature between 10-25℃ and humidity between 50%-70%. Excessive temperature accelerates battery aging, while excessively low temperature may affect performance; excessive humidity can easily cause metal parts to rust, while excessive dryness may lead to static electricity risks. It is recommended to install temperature and humidity monitoring equipment to monitor environmental changes in real time.

2. Dual Requirements for Ventilation and Safety

Air Circulation: The storage area must maintain good ventilation to avoid the accumulation of harmful gases. However, attention should be paid to the possibility of dust brought by strong convection air.

Fire Prevention Measures: Keep away from heat sources and flammable materials. It is recommended to use flame-retardant shelving.

Spacing Management: Maintain an access path of at least 30cm between battery packs for maintenance.

Anti-static Treatment: It is recommended to use conductive materials for the floor to avoid charge accumulation.

3.Other Environmental Management Details
Light conditions are equally important-batteries should be kept away from direct sunlight, as ultraviolet rays will accelerate the aging of the casing material. Also note:

The storage surface must be flat, firm, and have sufficient load-bearing capacity.

Keep away from equipment with strong electromagnetic fields (such as large motors).

Regularly check the integrity of the packaging to prevent physical damage.

It is recommended to store different batches of batteries separately for easier lifecycle management.
